The site is remote — county findings describe a large setback from the nearest homes — which is the project's main noise buffer. The county's nuisance ordinance and a 50 dBA limit applied to the solar component set the regulatory baseline. It's worth being direct about a gap here: the public record does not contain an independent acoustic study for the data center itself. The applicant's filings include compliance commitments, but a modeled sound-level analysis at the property line is not part of the submitted record.
